On 7 SEP, the opening concert of the Vale Living with Lakes Lunches with a Lake Concert Series features Jazz Sudbury Festival artists Mark Scherzinger and Jacob Starling. Both graduates of Laurentian University where they studied jazz in the Department of Music, Mark and Jacob were leading members of the LU Jazz Combo. The guitar duo will perform tunes written specifically for this show and they promise “they’re going to be very special.”
All series concerts take place at the Vale Living with Lakes Centre, 840 Ramsey Lake Road from 12:10 to 12:50 pm and are free to the public.
Other concerts in the series take place on the first Friday of the month (excepting 11 JAN, 2019). The style of music varies with the featured performers.
Artists include local professional musicians, community groups, and Laurentian University music students. Parking at the Lakes Centre is very limited so car-pooling is recommended. Bring your lunch.
